Eads strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Wiley Panthers 7-0. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Case Nelson was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Nelson wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Adyn Hough, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Hough is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Eads pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wiley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eads beat the Panthers by a score of 14-0 later that day.
