Softball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

Foxcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Saint James Saints. If Foxcroft was looking for revenge after losing 23-0 to Saint James when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Foxcroft saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katt Garrett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Foxcroft's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Saint James, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Foxcroft will welcome Oakcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saint James, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against National Cathedral on the 4th.
