Make it five blowout wins for the Clover Park Timberwolves this season. They breezed by Franklin Pierce at home to the tune of 59-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Clover Park has posted since December 11, 2023.
Kamila Salanoa was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Mekaia Williams, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Clover Park's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Franklin Pierce, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clover Park will challenge Bremerton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin Pierce, they will head out on the road to take on Fife at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
