Grove City Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Millersport Lakers a 49-0 shutout. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Grove City Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Millersport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Grove City Christian will take on Berne Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millersport, they will venture away from home to challenge Fisher Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on October 4. The Irish will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
