Volleyball Game Preview: Lynnwood Royals vs. Meadowdale Mavericks

The Lynnwood Royals will venture away from home to square off against the Meadowdale Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynnwood is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Lynnwood had taken Edmonds-Woodway down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Royals fell 3-1 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Meadowdale came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Jackson on Monday.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Meadowdale, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Lynnwood took their victory against Meadowdale when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
