Rappahannock's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Essex Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Rappahannock's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Essex, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
