Softball Recap: Viewmont's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Viewmont unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olympus Titans.

Ricki Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Viewmont now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Olympus, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Viewmont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 defeat against Northridge on the 5th. As for Olympus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brighton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bengals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
