Volleyball Recap: Quad Cities Christian Starts Season with Victory at Home

Quad Cities Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past East Moline Christian 3-0. Quad Cities Christian has beaten East Moline Christian the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest East Moline Christian has come to flipping the script.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-13.

Quad Cities Christian's offense was headlined by Ayda Kyer and Bridgett Logan, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Maddy Bollinger and her 20 assists. Kyer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

East Moline Christian now has a losing record of 1-2.

Quad Cities Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Tri-State Christian on the 26th. As for East Moline Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Unity Christian on the 26th.
