Basketball Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gladewater last Saturday, Spring Hill came back down to earth. The Spring Hill Panthers came up short against the Kilgore Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 47-27. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Kilgore, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will square off against Pine Tree at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kilgore, they will challenge Carthage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
