Baseball Recap: Mt. Baker Takes a Loss

Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Lynden Lions. If the Mountaineers were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Baker's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lynden, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Baker is set to challenge their familiar foe Lynden Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lynden will square off against rival Squalicum at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
