Interboro waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They skirted past the Ridley Raiders 3-1. That's two games straight that the Buccaneers have won by exactly two runs.

Jules Bergen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mare Nagle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Summer Burrell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Interboro pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Ridley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Interboro will challenge Chichester at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridley, they will face off against Garnet Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
