Baseball Recap: Windermere Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crooms Academy on Wednesday, Windermere Prep came back down to earth. The Lakers came up short against the East Ridge Knights on Friday, falling 11-1. The game marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Windermere Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Montalvo, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Montalvo's first of the season.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for East Ridge, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Windermere Prep will welcome The Villages Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Ridge, they will venture away from home to challenge St. John Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
