Softball Preview: Decatur Bulldogs vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

The Decatur Bulldogs will square off against the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Woodward Academy didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with eight strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Woodward Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6.
