They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Regals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Regina pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mid-Prairie, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.
