Volleyball Recap: Whittier Comes Up Short

Whittier lost against Troy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

While Whittier was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Troy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 27-25.

Whittier's record now sits at 6-12. As for Troy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Whittier has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against California on the 2nd. As for Troy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Brea Olinda on the 3rd.
