Lewis-Palmer had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Discovery Canyon on Thursday. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunder. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won seven in a row.

Lewis-Palmer never let Discovery Canyon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.

Ariana O'Connor paced Lewis-Palmer's offense, picking up 11 kills. O'Connor got some help from Keira Lunn and her 21 assists. Lunn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bridgette Bogenrief, each putting up three.

The win got Lewis-Palmer back to even at 7-7. As for Discovery Canyon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
