Basketball Recap: Whitmer Comes Up Short

Whitmer was the 81-62 winner over Richmond Heights when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Whitmer Panthers fell to the Richmond Heights Spartans 71-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (64), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Whitmer and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Richmond Heights, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

When Whitmer and Richmond Heights next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Whitmer will take on Perrysburg and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richmond Heights will try to stop Louisville's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
