Volleyball Recap: Atlee's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Atlee was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Varina on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hanover Hawks on Thursday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Atlee fell to 4-1. As for Hanover, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Atlee is set to challenge their familiar foe Henrico at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hanover will take on rival Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
