West Salem has gone 9-1 against Black River Falls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the West Salem Panthers face off against the Black River Falls Tigers at 7:00 p.m. West Salem is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, West Salem came up short against La Crosse Central and fell 50-43.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Black River Falls). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Melrose-Mindoro 89-57. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

West Salem's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Black River Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Everything came up roses for West Salem against Black River Falls in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 87-53 win. Will West Salem repeat their success, or does Black River Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
