It was a good run, but Riverdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Gateway Eagles finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Raiders' first draw of the season.

Christela Daniel and Jayden Lenhardt scored all three of Riverdale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Riverdale's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-1. Meanwhile, Gateway's record is now 6-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale will be home for the holidays to greet Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gateway, they will host Ida Baker at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
