Concord-Carlisle had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Waltham on Thursday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Patriots not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 3-0).

Concord-Carlisle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Waltham, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
