Boyertown can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Perkiomen Valley Vikings 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Boyertown's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Perkiomen Valley are ranked 56th).

Boyertown's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Perkiomen Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1.
