Basketball Recap: Delphian Takes a Loss

Delphian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Western Christian Pioneers, falling 75-17. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Pioneers are ranked 44th).

Delphian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Western Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Delphian has already played their next game (against Regis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Western Christian will host Salem Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
