Volleyball Recap: Littleton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Littleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Evergreen Cougars. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 18-25, 25-16.

Emma Bird paced Littleton's offense, picking up ten kills. Bird got some help from Camryn Alfstad and her 17 assists. Finally, Sophia Rodriguez kept Littleton's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Evergreen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Littleton is set to face off against their familiar foe Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Evergreen will square off against rival Standley Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
