The Mount Si Wildcats will challenge the West Valley Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mount Si is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Mount Si came up short against Woodinville and fell 13-9. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly four runs.

Anna Braukus and Abigail Rowland stepped up to the plate in a big way. Braukus went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Rowland went 4-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Braukus is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Hetzel, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, West Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against East Valley last Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 10-8. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

This is the second loss in a row for Mount Si and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for West Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
