After a string of four wins, Pinecrest Academy Cadence's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights, falling 77-13. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-9.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Audrey Hilton and Aspen Larson, who each put up four points. Hilton also led the team in rebounds with eight.

Amija Macon was her usual excellent self, putting up 24 points for Mater Academy East Las Vegas. Macon is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 22 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aa'Ziah Fraizer, who posted 14 points.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
