Softball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Lennox Academy's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lennox Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Valley Christian Academy Lions. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Michel Estrada was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Olmos, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lennox Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Valley Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

As of now, neither Lennox Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
