Baseball Recap: Hutchison Hawks vs. Delta Huskies
Hutchison scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past the Delta Huskies 16-10. The win was a breath of fresh air for Hutchison as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Ryan Fenton was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Keirns, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Hutchison's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Delta, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Pole the next time they take the field. Hutchison will head out to face North Pole at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, while Delta will play them later in the day, at 7:15 p.m.
