Basketball Recap: Burlington Piles Up the Points Against Fort Washakie

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burlington). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Fort Washakie Eagles 71-19. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Burlington is taking a road trip to take on Rocky Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burlington's defense has only allowed 24.5 points per game this season, so Rocky Mountain's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fort Washakie, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Farson-Eden at 3:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
