Softball Preview: West Harrison Hurricanes vs. Pascagoula Panthers
For the second straight game, West Harrison will face off against Pascagoula. The Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
West Harrison fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Pascagoula on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2.
For Pascagoula's part, Anneleese Rabon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over eight innings pitched. Rabon has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Rabon wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ty'Mia Bell, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
