Soccer Recap: Maiden Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Caldwell last Tuesday, Maiden came back down to earth. Maiden fell just short of the Bandys Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Maiden haven't had much luck with Bandys recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Maiden's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4-1. As for Bandys, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Maiden is set to square off against their familiar foe Bunker Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bandys will take on rival Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
