After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bearden, Emerson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Strong Bulldogs as they made off with a 21-5 win. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Emerson's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Strong, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Strong will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bearden at 7:00 p.m. Emerson will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' game: after the Bulldogs faces off against the Bears, they'll take on Emerson again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
