Mt. Lebanon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pine-Richland Rams a 1-0 shutout. Given Mt. Lebanon's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Pine-Richland are ranked 152nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mt. Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2. As for Pine-Richland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Lebanon nor Pine-Richland have any future games scheduled.
