Baseball Recap: Orangewood Christian Takes a Loss

Orangewood Christian was the 16-2 winner over Lake Highland Prep when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 5-1 to the Highlanders on Thursday.

Addison Lambert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Orangewood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Lake Highland Prep, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-14 record.

Orangewood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will challenge Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
