After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. John Paul II, Baker was happy to have turned things around on Monday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Hornets who were credited with the win. The Baker Hornets got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Bryant Hurricanes's two. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Baker as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Baker back to even at 6-6-2. As for Bryant, they moved to 6-8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
