Baseball Game Preview: Airport Eagles vs. South Florence Bruins

For the second straight game, Airport will face off against South Florence. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Bruins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Airport is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Airport is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over South Florence.

Airport got a great performance from Cash Epps as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Epps has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Airport's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Braden Gross, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
