Basketball Recap: Red Oak Takes a Loss

Red Oak was the 55-51 winner over Southwest Valley when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Oak Tigers were beaten by Southwest Valley 71-35 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against Southwest Valley since February 6, 2017.

Red Oak's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Southwest Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

While Red Oak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
