Soccer Recap: Green Mountain Union Takes a Loss

Green Mountain Union lost against Twin Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Green Mountain Union can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Twin Valley are ranked fifth).

Green Mountain Union dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Twin Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Green Mountain Union will take on Randolph at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Randolph will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Green Mountain Union surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twin Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on White River Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
