Callaway had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 66-28 blowout they got against the Warren Central Vikings. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Callaway's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jahanna Wilson, who went 9 of 16 en route to 19 points. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Trinity Cook, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds.

Callaway smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Callaway pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Warren Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Callaway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-40 defeat against Biloxi on the 4th. As for Warren Central, they will take on Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
