Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rocksprings). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-30 win over the IDEA College Prep Griffins. The Angoras didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Leading Rocksprings to victory were Katie Riojas and Alektra Hernandez. Riojas posted 22 points, while Hernandez had 18 points. Hernandez's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Virginia Ramos, who earned six points.

Rocksprings' win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for IDEA College Prep, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Rocksprings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-19 victory against Knippa on the 13th. As for IDEA College Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vanguard Academy Beethoven at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
