Stewartville's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They never let the Dover-Eyota Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stewartville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dover-Eyota, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stewartville will take on Lake City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
