Baseball Recap: Windom Eagles vs. Redwood Valley Cardinals
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Windom and Redwood Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.
Charles Erickson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.
