Volleyball Recap: Charlottesville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Charlottesville lost against Western Albemarle back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Knights lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Black Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Charlottesville was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Western Albemarle's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-18.

Charlottesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Western Albemarle, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Charlottesville is set to challenge their familiar foe Fluvanna County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Western Albemarle will square off against rival Orange County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
