Fike has gone 8-2 against Hunt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Golden Demons will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m.

Fike is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against C.B. Aycock on Monday. They came up short against the Golden Falcons, falling 6-1. Fike have struggled against C.B. Aycock recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Hunt entered their tilt with Rocky Mount on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Gryphons with a sharp 6-2 win. Given Hunt's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Rocky Mount are ranked 495th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hunt's offense was hitting Rocky Mount from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mark Dixon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Hunt now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Fike, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-3.

Fike beat Hunt by a goal in their previous matchup on October 6th, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Demons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
