Soccer Recap: Flanagan Comes Up Short

If Flanagan was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Coral Glades last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flanagan Falcons came up short against the Stoneman Douglas Eagles on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Flanagan's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Stoneman Douglas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-0-5.

Flanagan will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McArthur at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Stoneman Douglas and Cooper City will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Cooper City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
