Volleyball Recap: Mater Dei Monarchs vs. Edison Chargers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mater Dei had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Edison Chargers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Monarchs.
Jaremiah Potasi paced Mater Dei's offense, picking up 14 kills. Potasi got some help from Jake Newman and his 44 assists. Finally, Dylan Gallagher kept Mater Dei's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 25-12-2. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 14-17.
Mater Dei wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Francis on the 10th. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
