Baseball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

For the second straight game, Galt will face off against Liberty Ranch. The Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Galt is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Galt's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Ranch on Tuesday.

For Liberty Ranch's part, the result came thanks to Vance Moe's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, Garrett Owen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan House, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Liberty Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Galt, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
