Volleyball Recap: Maypearl Takes a Loss

Maypearl suffered their biggest loss since October 22, 2024 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Grandview Zebras. The Panthers have struggled against the Zebras recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-12.

Caroline Rendahl paced Maypearl's offense, picking up six kills. Rendahl also shared the team's lead in assists with Campbell Rendahl: they picked up eight each. Campbell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Maypearl's defeat dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Grandview, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-9.

Coincidentally, Maypearl and Grandview will both be playing Blooming Grove the next time they take the court. The Zebras will host the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
