Basketball Recap: Sidney Falls Short of Custer County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sidney can now relate to. They lost 53-30 to the Custer County Cowboys on Sunday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Custer County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Sidney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-26 loss against Billings Central Catholic on the 27th. As for Custer County, they have also already played their next match, a 51-47 defeat against Hardin on the 27th.
