Basketball Recap: Steilacoom Sentinels vs. Clover Park Timberwolves
Steilacoom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Clover Park Timberwolves didn't end well, with the Steilacoom Sentinels falling 71-52. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-63 back in December of 2024.
It was another big night for Marshall Scott, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points in addition to five assists and four steals for Clover Park. Scott has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Kristian Carter was another key player, going 6 of 9 en route to 14 points along with eight boards and four blocks.
Steilacoom's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Clover Park, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.
